I've posted a new translation of Albert the Great's "De homine", tractate 1, Question 20, Article 5, on "How color is in the medium and the eye". Here Albert wrestles with the problem of how a transparent medium (like air or water) can simultaneously transmit multiple colors through numerically the same space. |
