The PParts ProgramPParts is a program for testing you on the principal parts of verbs from the Intensive Latin book. Currently it has pretty much all the verbs that don't follow the 1st conjugation regular pattern. 1) Getting the Program. You can download the pparts program by clicking here... Your browser should ask you if you want to save the file or open it. Save it to a temp directory. Double-click on it, and it should open in your Zip program (e.g. WinZip). Tell your Zip program to "Extract" the pparts.zip program to your C:\ drive (be sure that the option to "use folder names"/"preserve directory structure" is checked). The extraction should only take a second or two. Once it's done, check to make sure that a directory called "pparts" got created on your C: drive. 2) Running the ProgramRunning the program is the simple part... - Use Windows Explorer to navigate to your new "pparts" directory, and double-click on the file named "pparts.pl":
 - You should see the following screen pop up:
 - Here's an example of a correct answer and an incorrect answer.
Note that long vowels are indicated by a colon following the vowel.
 - Enter your answer and hit enter... note that if you get it wrong, it'll give you the correct answer, and move on to another verb.
- To quit, type "CTRL-C" (i.e. hold the control key down and hit "C" simultaneously).
